About The Mike Byrne Trio

The Mike Byrne Trio consists of three friends that enjoy playing music together:  Mike Byrne on guitar and vocals, Richard Burton on keyboards, and Will Shafer on bass.  We have played numerous engagements over the past several years and decided to formalize the group to offer our music to a wider audience.  We specialize in events such as private parties, cocktail/dinner music for weddings and other events where the music should be interesting, listenable and not overbearing.  Our repertoire consists of standards from the American Songbook as well as pop tunes from the 60's to today.  We invite you to enjoy our unique musical approach to providing music for your next event!
